Substitute Early Intervention Special Education teachers needed year around. Applicants should be available to work on an as needed basis during the school year. Special Education teachers must have appropriate license and a certification to work with children, i.e. NYS Teacher Certification in Special Education (if received before 02/04) or NYS Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Special Education/Students with Disabilities (birth–grade 2) and be registered with an NPI number and HCS number. Teacher Assistants and Substitutes The Alcott School is looking for teacher assistants and teacher assistant substitutes to work full days or half days at all of our locations.
